We would like to invite you to join our Society!

The Alleghany Highlands Genealogical Society is active in preserving the genealogical records of Alleghany County and the surrounding areas in Virginia and West Virginia. The Society meets the second Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm at 515 East Pine Street, Covington, VA. We invite you to visit our Library and Archives at the same location. We will be excited to see you and welcome the chance to show you around. Our hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM – 3 PM.
